Having spent a childhood falling off rafts, pulling up lobster pots for pocket money with the sound of the clanging boatyard in the backyard, the inspiration that led to The Old Sea Dog was all around. Sisters Lisa and Jane Talbot launched their Sea Shop and Gallery by the shores of Sheephaven Bay in the summer of 2017. Bringing together their business and artistic talents with the rich seafaring traditions of family and community The Old Sea Dog like the sea itself is ever changing…

The Fleet

Jane has designed our unique fleet of Pop Up Cards depicting iconic Irish sea going vessels. Each boat in the fleet has a personal connection to us in The Old Sea Dog, for example our ancestors crewed on the Minnehaha and so on. It’s the perfect way to send your thoughts sailing towards your loved ones.
