Tiger ceramics founder Dave Courcier started 35 years ago at The Dales pottery in Clapham, North Yorkshire run by the skillful large pot maker Peter Strong. The Dales Pottery had mineral rights on the North York moors where they dug a tonne of clay per week for processing into plastic clay ready for throwing on the wheel. The art of taking mother natures resources & then turning it into usable vessels for use around the house or in the garden intrigued Dave. Which in turn led to him to buying his first potters wheel and Kiln. Dave spent two years becoming a repetition potter... and the rest is history!
