The Ulster Weavers Company is based in Holywood in Northern Ireland, and their eye-catching range of practical products caught our eye one day. Historically, the weavers of Ulster took the skills and lore of traditional craftwork and developed them for a modern world; as machines took over and cheaper materials became available elsewhere, these skills were in danger of disappearing, but thankfully there is still an appreciative audience for locally made linens and fabrics.
This teatowel maps out the Wild Atlantic Way, from its Northernmost point in our beloved Donegal, right along the coastline to County Cork. Several of the loveliest features of the Atlantic way are highlighted, including our own lovely cliffs at Sliabh League. This would make a useful starting point for mapping out your bucket-list trip to Ireland!
