The large Bean Rí (Queen) pendant is the statement piece of this collection. It is Inspired by the mythological warrior queens of ancient Ireland and modeled on bronze age spear heads displayed at the Irish National Museum. Martina has sought to embody the beauty and strength of Ireland's ancient queens as they were rendered in mythical tales and folklore, alongside the the fiercely elegant shape of the spear head. The turn in the spear shape gives the piece its undeniable flame like elegance.
