The Donegal Bog Cotton Company is based in Falcarragh, Co. Donegal and specialises in organic handmade cosmetics.
From small beginnings in 2014, Marian and Patricia have broadened their range of products from handmade soaps to moisturiser, lip balm and scented candles. Only the best quality organic ingredients are used and, where possible, are sourced in Ireland.
With a shared interest in the local flora, inspiration for scents and colours comes easily in Donegal. Drifts of Bog Cotton brighten the heathery hillsides in early Summer. Fuchsia and Cowslip bedeck the hedgerows and Sea Holly hides among the Marram grass in the shelter of the sand dunes.
